The Blue Flag Beaches of Los Alcazares are beautiful, sandy and clean. The golden sand and warm water of the Mar Menor make it ideal for sunbathing and water sport enthusiasts. The Costa Calida has over 250km of beaches and 50 km of these make up the Mar Menor, the rest are on the Mediterranean. Along the coast there are a range of water sports and some areas have been designated as areas of outstanding natural beauty or national / regional parks.

The beaches of Las Salinas, Los Narejos, Las Palmeras, Espejo, Manzanares, Carrion and La Concha have all been awarded the EU Blue Flag. Los Alcazares beaches have consistently been awarded blue flag status every year and provide access for the disabled, sports and play equipment, showers, toilets, first aid and rescue services.
